The Solent Schools pride themselves on being inclusive and enabling children with SEND, with support if necessary, to fully participate in every area of school life. Children progress at different rates and some may require additional support for a time, or for the duration of their education. SEND is a whole school priority with every teacher being a teacher of SEND, ably supported by an experienced team of trained Learning Support Assistants. All our staff work hard to ensure all children are given the necessary support whilst maintaining their emotional wellbeing. Collaboration and partnership between school and home is essential when it comes to supporting a child with SEND and we are proud of the relationships we build with all of our parents, carers and families.
