Key Stage 1 or 2  Class Teacher  – September 2024

Pay Range £30,000 to £41,333 - dependent on experience (ECTs are welcome to apply)

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious professional to join our teaching team here at the Solent Schools ready for September 2024! This is a full time, permanent vacancy.

We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teacher (dependent on candidate preference and suitability). The successful candidate will:

  • Have an excellent understanding of the development of pupils’ skills and knowledge across the Key Stage 1 or 2 Curriculum.
  • Be keen to develop and grow their own leadership skills, as appropriate, through the role.
  • Be an inspirational and creative teacher with the ability to motivate all children to achieve their very best.
  • Have high aspirations for all children, rooted in the belief that every child has the potential to succeed.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
  • Be committed to a collaborative working environment, sharing with and motivating a classroom team.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic whole school team.

We welcome applications from candidates who would be enthusiastic to work in either key stage, and equally those who would like to specify a key stage 1 or 2 preference. Visits will be tailored to match candidate preference.
